Shirley Duncan Sowers, 69, died Jan. 23, 2013, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian.
She was born in Christiansburg, Va., and moved to Sebastian in 1982 from Wilmington, N.C.
She worked as a printer for 22 years with Action Printers in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Sonner; sons, John Wesley Sowers Jr. and Wayne Edward Sowers; sisters, Patricia and Barbara; brother, Duane; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, John Wesley Sowers Sr.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 26. at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian.
