Marilyn Heiserman, 84, died Jan. 21, 2013, at The Place at Vero Beach.
She was born in Findlay, Ohio, and lived in Vero Beach for 38 years, coming from Arcadia, Ohio.
Before retirement, she owned a laundromat and worked at J.C. Penney, Vero Beach.
She was a member of the Lakewood Park First United Methodist Church.
She was a member of the Laugh Alot Club and Homemakers Club and a Red Cross volunteer in Lakewood Park.
She was a foster parent for many years and was involved with youth athletics in Ohio.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Paananen, of Mount Dora and Nancy Revels, of Fort Pierce; sons, James Heiserman and John Heiserman, both of Fort Pierce; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Robert.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 26 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
