Florence G. Piat, 93, died Jan. 19, 2013, at Indian River Estates Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and moved to the Fort Pierce/Vero Beach area in 1980, coming from Smithtown, N.Y.
Before retirement, she was a bookkeeper for the Brading Insurance Co. for 10 years.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and AARP, a life member of the Kings Daughters and Sons and volunteer at Indian River Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Piat, of Vero Beach.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 28 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.
Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
