VERO BEACH — If you’ve ever wondered what happens to those $100,000 grants that Impact 100 gives out every year, now is your chance to find out.
Impact Day, sponsored by Vero Insurance and featuring tours of four community partners, will occur on Wednesday, Jan. 30, beginning at 9 a.m.
All visits will require sign-ups except for CASTLE. Here’s the schedule for the community partners who will open their doors to the public.
Sebastian Charter Jr. High School, 782 Wave St. in Sebastian, will run from 9-9:30 a.m. and from 9:45-10:15 a.m.
Members and prospective members will have an opportunity to view the new building under construction as well as learn of the new furniture and sound system purchased with Impact 100 grant money.
Education Foundation at the Vero Beach Elementary School, 1770 12th St. in Vero Beach, will open from 11 a.m. until Noon. There will be two separate groups touring in different areas.
ORCA will be at Indian River Charter High School, 6055 College Ln. in Vero Beach, from 1–1:30 p.m. and from 1:30–2 p.m.
Students involved in the program will show and tell how samples are collected and information recorded.
CASTLE, 148 Vista Royal Sq. in Vero Beach, will be open from 2–4 p.m.
Members will witness the training session for volunteers who make home visits to assist parents with parenting skills.

All tours, except for CASTLE, require advanced sign-ins. The tours promise to give members and prospective members the opportunity to view these facilities and meet with program managers.
The tours conclude with a wine and cheese reception from 4:30–6 p.m. at the Quail Valley River Club, 2345 A1A in Vero Beach. Advance reservations must be made for the reception also.
