Daniel R. Bogart, 67, died Jan. 20, 2013, at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 3½ years, coming from Wyoming.
Before retirement, he worked as a mental health counselor.
He was a member of the Treasure Coast Chorale and was a volunteer of the local American Red Cross.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Barbara A. Bogart, of Vero Beach; daughter, Laura Dalpoas, of Kokomo, Ind.; son, Scott Bogart, of Evanston, Wyo.; brother, Patrick Bogart; mother, Wilma Bogart, both of Portage, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Chorale located at 2046 Treasure Coast Plaza, Suite 2, PMB 319, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Private family services are planned.
