OBA elects new executive board

VERO BEACH — The Oceanside Business Association (OBA) is pleased to present the results of its recent 2013 elections. Georgia Irish of Marine Bank & Trust is Chairperson; Carol Prezioso of Norris & Company Real Estate is Treasurer; Brian Hartman of Harbor Community Bank is Secretary; and Martin Bireley of Beach Shop continues as Vice-President.

Also continuing on the board of directors are: Al Benkert, Vero Beachside Sales-Rentals; Heather Willett, Vero Beach Hotel & Spa; Chase Mariposa, Coldwell Banker Paradise Ed Schlitt Realtors; Laurie Easterwood, PNC Bank; and Ann Belinkoff, Acupuncture Beachside.

The OBA mission is to acquaint and inform the public as to the member businesses, to provide information, sponsor events, and promote beautification projects.

All island businesses in Indian River County are invited to become members.

The OBA created and runs the weekly Farmer’s Market on Dahlia Ln., the Ocean Drive Concert Series, the annual Taste of Vero, St. Patrick’s Day, and Christmas/Winter holiday parades.

We are often in need of volunteers to help during the concerts, and we are now soliciting ideas for new projects to celebrate our community.
