Marjorie Claire Willis, 84, Vero Beach

Marjorie Claire Willis, 84, died Jan. 17, 2013, at Kindred Hospital Melbourne.

She was born in Maitland and moved to Vero Beach in 1986, coming from Pompano Beach.

She and her husband founded and operated the Pompano Glass Co. for 33 years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Vero Beach, where she was a member of the Aware Sunday school Class.

She graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School and attended Florida State University.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Thomas”Gene” Willis, of Vero Beach; daughter, Catherine Neville, of Vero Beach; sons, Alan Willis, of Sarasota and Larry Willis, of Lehi, Utah; brothers, Harold D. Haldeman Jr., and Richard Haldeman, of Fort Lauderdale; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home, 51 Children’s Way, Enterprise, FL 32725.

A life celebration memorial will begin at noon Jan. 19 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, followed by a reception at The Plaza.
