Impact 100 to host afternoon teas

VERO BEACH — Would you like to find out what Impact 100, the philanthropic women’s group, is all about, and meet and mingle with members? Well now is your chance.

Impact 100 is hosting several small get-togethers for members and prospective members. These get-togethers will be held during January and February in members’ homes in various neighborhoods and communities.

“We’ve found that our members enjoy an opportunity to meet one another and socialize in small groups. We invite them to bring a friend along as well and introduce her to Impact 100, “ explained Jane Coyle, President of Impact 100.

These small gatherings will include a brief program and discussion of how effective women can be working together for the betterment of our community. A video will be shown, refreshments will be served, and guests will have the opportunity to ask questions of Impact board members.

Those interested in attending one of these late afternoon members-and-friends events should contact Carolyn Antenen at (513) 368-9836 or by email at CAntenen@mac.com.

Impact 100 is a group of philanthropic women who individually donate $1,000 annually, which in turn is pooled into $100,000 grants. In the past four years since its inception, the organization has donated more than $1,201,000 to Indian River County non-profits.
