Dorothy R. Marshall, 82, died Jan. 9, 2013, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Ford City, Pa., and had been a winter resident of Vero Beach for 12 years, coming from Glenn Mills, Pa.
She worked as a dietitian with General Foods and later as a consultant dietitian.
She attended Beaver College in Pennsylvania, and received her master’s degree in dietetic work from Columbia University in New York.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Swarthmore, Pa., and attended the Community Church in Vero Beach.
She was a member of the ADA and the Moorings Club of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Phillip Marshall, of Glen Mills and Vero Beach; son, Ralph Marshall, of Louisville, Ky.; and one grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
At the request of the family, the funeral will be at a later date in Annapolis, Md.
