14th Avenue Steak House presents “New York, New York”

VERO BEACH — After presenting a New Year’s Eve gala premier to a sold-out standing ovation crowd, Theatre-Go-Round Dinner Theatre at the 14th Avenue Steak House will open its newest smash hit musical revue “New York, New York” to the general public on Sunday, Jan. 13.

In the heart of the historic district in downtown Vero Beach, award-winning food, great service, and a professional musical revue await you and your friends for 5 additional performances in their intimate supper club setting.

Shows will continue on Sundays, Jan. 27, February 10, 24, and March 17 with a prime rib dinner at 12:30 p.m. and the matinee at 2 p.m.

For non-meat diners, onion encrusted pangasius; a mild, fresh water white fish is available if requested at the time of making your reservation.

Headlining the professional cast are Theatre-Go-Round veterans Eleanor Dixon and Shamara Turner.

Patty Carreau, who joined the company with their hit Christmas show “Holiday Harmonies” last month and instantly became a favorite, rounds out the trio who parade around the dining room dripping in sequin studded gowns delivering over 2 dozen hit songs honoring the Big Apple.

From “Take Me Back to Manhattan” and “New York State of Mind” to an array of New York medleys, of course this talented trio concludes with a salute to the Great White Way featuring some of the most popular selections to ever hit Broadway.

Whether you’re into the swing of the jazz versions of “Manhattan,” “Slumming on Park Avenue,” “Sunday in New York,” or the comic delights of “Don’t Sleep in the Subway, Darling” or “Ring Them Bells,” this show has something for everyone; whether you’ve ever been to New York or not.

Dinner Theatre Packages at $45 per person include a four course sit down dinner, live musical show, tax, and gratuities.

Reservations are required with a Visa, Discover, or MasterCard and should be made by phoning (772) 252-9341.

On Sunday, March 24, the ever popular “Those Fabulous ’50s,” a nostalgic trip back to the days of bobby sox, poodle skirts, malt shops, and drive-in car hops will open.

Other Sunday performances will be given on April 7, 21, May 5 and 19.

Reservations are currently being accepted for both shows, but seating is limited.
