VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Art Club presents its 25th annual Art by the Sea Exhibition Jan. 25-27 at the Vero Beach Museum of Art in the Holmes Great Hall.
This prestigious show will feature over 200 talented artists who are either members of the Vero Beach Art Club or the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
Show opens Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. with an awards ceremony and opening reception. The exhibit continues on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All artwork is for sale, and a percentage goes to benefit the Vero Beach Art Club Scholarship Fund.
The Art by the Sea Exhibition accepts one piece of work from each artist in the categories of Acrylic, Oil, Pastel/Graphics, Watercolor, Photography/Digitally Enhanced Photographs, Mixed Media, Jewelry, and Sculpture/3D.
All members of the Vero Beach Art Club and the Vero Beach Museum of Art are eligible to enter their work into the show. The entry must be original art not older than 2 years which has never been exhibited at any previous Art by the Sea show. All artwork must be available for sale.
The show is judged and awards presented to the artists at a VIP preview before the show opens and ribbons posted with the artwork.
The opening reception will include wine and cheese and a chance to meet many of the artists who have entered their work.
A portion of the sale will benefit our scholarship fund, which goes to pay for up to five college scholarships given out each year to local graduating high school seniors to go on to art related studies.
