VERO BEACH — You previously participated in our family-friendly, Adventures of Sherlock Bones Scavenger Hunt, presented by the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County’s Young Professionals, the Yuppie Puppies.
Once again, the Yuppie Puppies have created a very exciting and fun event that we are sure you will want to participate in: Bark In The Park Dog Walk and Fun Fest.
The Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County is gathering pledges and forming teams for the 1st Annual Bark In The Park event.
This family and dog-friendly event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at Riverside Park in Vero Beach.
Participants are encouraged to bring their dogs and families for a day of fun, food, music (a live remote from 93.7 The New Breeze,) demonstrations such as The Disc-Connected K9’s World Famous Frisbee Dogs, Agility Play Time, and IRC Sheriff’s Dept. K9 demonstration.
Shop the day away with local vendors, enjoy great food, watch demos, or shop at the All For Paws tent. Children and pets of all ages can play the day away in the Paws & Play Kids Zone.
Bark In The Park, your dogs’ day at Riverside Park, is the perfect outing for you, your family, and your dogs. This fundraising benefit for the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County promises to be a four-hour fun fest that you and your “best friends” will enjoy sharing.
Plus, it is a great way to show your support for the work of this important humane organization.
While the event is free, all the funds collected help us care for the 7,000 homeless pets in Indian River County every year. Support from Bark In The Park “Pack” teams makes a huge difference, which is why we hope you will form a Pack to raise pledges in honor of your pets and join us for all the fun on event day.
Forming a Pack is a great way to have fun with family, friends, and coworkers while raising funds for a great cause: the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County.
