Samuel Elton Ledger, 86, died Dec. 24, 2012, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Pontiac, Mich., and lived in Vero Beach for 33 years, coming from Waterford, Mich.
He worked for the Pontiac Motors Division of General Motors for 34 years before his retirement in 1980.
He was a member of The Community Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his son, Douglas Ledger of Lake Orion, Mich.; daughter, Ann Ledger Robson of Charlotte, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Carter Ledger.
