Margaret Perrott Levie, Vero Beach

Margaret Perrott Levie, former resident of Albany, GA died on December 27, 2012 at the Grace Rehabilitation Center of Vero Beach.

Born Feb. 7, 1910, in Columbus, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Walter William and Anne Caroline Hunter Perrott.

She was a graduate of Georgia State Teacher’s College (now the University of Georgia).

She married William A Levie, (now deceased) her husband of 64 years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vero Beach and Albany, GA.

She enjoyed her family and was active in church and community activities throughout her life.

Survivors include her daughter, Carole Passiglia, and her husband, Carl of Vero Beach; three grandchildren; Mark Waters, of Safety Harbor, Elizabeth Chapman (Steve), of Clearwater, and Carolyn Ciganek (Ron), of Belleair Beach; six great-grandchildren, Steven Chapman, William Chapman, Margaret Chapman, Jack Chapman, Christopher Ciganek and Hunter Ciganek.

The family is very grateful to the staff at Royal Palm and physician, Dr. Garrack Kantzler for the compassionate care that was given to her and to the staff of Grace Rehab for their many years of comfort.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1750 20th Street Vero Beach, FL 32960.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Monday Jan. 7, 2013, in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Ga.
