Dolores M. Acanfora, 79, died Dec. 25, 2012, at VNA/Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and lived in Sebastian for 18 years, coming from her birthplace.
She attended St. Sebastian Catholic Church and was a member of the Elks Club in Sebastian.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Joseph Acanfora, of Sebastian; son, David J. Acanfora, of Bridgeport; daughter, Sherry Ruohomaki, of Grant; sisters, Florence Caribe, of Texas, Beatrice Briglia, of Trumbull, Conn., and Bobbi Gaddis and Gloria Torreso, both of Stratford, Conn.; brothers, John Sherry, of Stratford and Donald Sherry, of Oxford, Conn.; and one grandchild.

A memorial will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 7 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian.
