Elizabeth Williams, 83, died Dec. 19, 2012, at Kindred Hospital-Melbourne.
She was born in Rochelle, Ga., and lived in Vero Beach for 62 years, coming from Fort Pierce.
Before retirement, she was a certified nursing assistant for Mecca Convalescence.
She was a church mother at House of God-Oslo.
Survivors include her sons, Artis Williams, Eugene Williams and Dennis Williams, all of Vero Beach, Willie Williams Jr., of Rockwell, N.C., and Tyrone Williams, of Fort Pierce; daughters, Diane Williams and Catherine Williams; sister, Thelma Peterson, of Fort Pierce; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Williams; sons, Oscar Lee Williams, Frank Williams and James Williams; daughter, Jennie Lou Broom; brother, Henry Lamar; and sister, Christine Troutman.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Dec. 28 and 9 to 10 a.m. Dec. 29 at House of God-Oslo in Oslo.
A home going celebration will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 29 at the church.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Sarah’s Memorial Chapel, Fort Pierce.
