Ronald Kauffman, 60, died Dec. 20, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Elizabeth, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 56 years, coming from his birthplace.
He worked for Piper Aircraft for 44 years.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Kay Kauffman of Vero Beach; sons, Jeffery Kauffman of Vero Beach, Jason Kotte of Winter Haven and Shane Hearndon of Roseland; daughters, Katina and Jennifer Kauffman, both of Vero Beach; sister, Barbara Kotte of St. Cloud; and four granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nancy Kauffman.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
