Dessie Calloway Flowers, 92, died Dec. 12, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Colquitt, Ga., and lived in Vero Beach.
She was a domestic worker earlier in life.
She was a member of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, Wabasso.
Survivors include her daughters, Pearlie Mae Anderson, of Wabasso and Karen Rivers, of Vero Beach; sister, Lottie Williams, of Cocoa; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Flowers; son, Charlie Battles Jr.; and sisters, Mattie Singleton, Jennie Jones and Lucy Flowers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 21 at the Wabasso Church of God, Wabasso.
A homegoing celebration will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 22 at the church.
Burial will follow in West Wabasso Cemetery, Wabasso.
