A donation of $20 will buy a student in need a new backpack or a pair of sneakers. A gift of $100 will provide a student an award at the Indian River Regional Science & Engineering Fair. A charitable donation of $500 will fund a teacher grant to engage children through innovative strategies.
The Education Foundation of Indian River County can provide an acknowledgement letter or a certificate for the gift recipient. Every donation provides the gift of education to children in Indian River County schools. Now more than ever your charitable gifts will help keep students on a path of learning.
The Education Foundation of Indian River County is the designated education foundation for the School District of Indian River County. Each county in Florida has a designated education foundation that serves to develop and foster business and community partnerships that enrich and enhance learning in our public schools.
One of the most important roles of education foundations is to link and engage business leaders who have the potential to invest in public education through financial donations and volunteer services.
The Education Foundation of Indian River County operates completely separate from the local school district and is funded almost entirely through private donations and grants. The Foundation works closely with the local school district to prioritize program and funding needs.
This unique structure allows the foundation to direct funding into the classroom, thus avoiding restrictions that often come with other funding sources.
