Carol Irene Greenwood, 97, died Dec. 12, 2012, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Detroit and lived in Vero Beach for five years, coming from Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include her son, Michael W. Greenwood, of Vero Beach; daughters, Carolyn Waller, of Port Austin, Mich., and Penny Trecker, of Green Valley, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Russell W. Greenwood.
A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 15 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
