Lawrence Godwin, 76, died Dec. 9, 2012.
He was born in Wabasso and was a lifelong resident of Indian River County.
Survivors include his son, Levon Jackson, of Utica, N.Y.; brother, David Godwin, of Wabasso; sister, Beaulah Thompson, of Utica, N.Y; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at Wabasso Church of God in Wabasso.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 15 at Wabasso Church of God.
Burial will follow at Wabasso Cemetery.
