Jack Everett Mayne, 88, died Dec. 8, 2012, at Hospital at Miami.
He was born in Peterborough, Ontario, and lived in Vero Beach since 1989.
Before retirement, he worked for International Multifoods in Canada, Venezuela, Mexico and Minnesota for 42 years.
Previously, he worked for Polymer in Sarnia, Ontario.
He was a member of Trinity Church and later Christ Church, both in Vero Beach.
He graduated from University of Toronto, 1946, chemical engineering.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Verlin; and children, Brian of Dover, United Kingdom, Donald of Ontario and J. Jane of Alexandria, Va. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert, in 1977.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 14 at Christ Church in Vero Beach, with a reception to follow.
Private interment will take place near Mr. Mayne’s summer cottage at West Lake, Ontario.
