Frances Ailene Shad de Lemos, 79, died Dec. 6, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Jacksonville and lived in Vero Beach, coming from Texas and having spent time in many countries.
She attended the University of Florida.
Survivors include her son, Arturo de Lemos III, of Vero Beach; daughter, Lynn Gross, of North Richland Hills, Texas; and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arturo, in 1981; and brother, Joseph Franklin Shad Jr.

Inurnment will take place alongside her husband at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas.
