JUPITER — Kenneth “Murray” Fournie, CFRE, has been named President of the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation.
In his role, Fournie will be responsible for identifying and cultivating potential benefactors and participating with the Foundation Board and the President/CEO of Jupiter Medical Center in formulating foundation goals and objectives.
He will oversee all planned and deferred giving, capital and major gift campaigns, endowment development, special events, business partnerships and grants acquisition.

Prior to joining the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, Fournie served as Director of Major Gifts & Planned Giving at the Indian River Medical Center Foundation in Vero Beach. There, he organized and implemented a campaign involving community volunteers, board members, and key medical center and foundation staff.
Through Fournie’s leadership, the Indian River Medical Center Foundation successfully completed its first major campaign, exceeding the $50 million goal by raising $52.6 million. Objectives included building a new emergency department, heart center, surgical intensive care unit, recovery rooms, and an outpatient services pavilion.
Fournie received a Bachelor of Arts from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, and a Master of Education from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
