Bernhard Anton Follert, 91, died Dec. 1, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Duisburg-Meiderich, Germany, and lived in Vero Beach, coming from Heiligenberg, Germany.
He received his doctorate from the University of Mannheim, Tuebingen and Koenigsberg, Germany.
He worked as a professor at the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim, Germany, for nine years.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors include his niece, Uta Helene Follert; and nephew, Udo-Rainer Follert, both of Germany.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Follert; and daughter, Eva Marie Follert.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 7 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
