<b>VERO BEACH, FL – April 10, 2025</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> – The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office and SafeSpace, a local non-profit dedicated to achieving freedom from domestic violence, successfully hosted their first annual Aim for Freedom Clay Shoot on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, at the Indian River County Shooting Range. The event brought together community members, law enforcement, and local businesses for a day of friendly competition and fundraising in support of a vital cause.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">The Aim for Freedom Clay Shoot offered participants of all skill levels the opportunity to enjoy a challenging and engaging clay shooting experience. Proceeds from the event directly benefited SafeSpace, enabling them to continue providing crucial services such as emergency shelter, counseling, advocacy, and outreach programs to individuals and families affected by domestic violence in the Treasure Coast.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Event organizer Aimee Cooper, CPA, CFE, Chief Financial Officer of the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, and Board President of SafeSpace, expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support. “We are incredibly thankful to everyone who participated in and contributed to the first annual Aim for Freedom Clay Shoot. The success of this event will have a significant impact on our ability to support survivors of domestic violence in our community.
