Franklin D. R. Tomey, 78, died Nov. 29, 2012, in Fort Pierce.
He was born in Indianapolis and lived in Vero Beach for 42 years, coming from Indiana.
Before retirement, he was a welder for an aircraft company.
Survivors include his daughters, Rosie Keltner, of Indianapolis and Adah Schlake, of Avon, Ind.; son, Franklin Tomey II, of Avon, Ind.; sister, Rose Fields, of Indianapolis; brother, Marlowe Tomey Jr., of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Castle, 3525 W. Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
