Charles J. Morris, 82, died Nov. 26, 2012, at VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach for 22 years, coming from Pennsylvania.
He was a retired teacher of Jefferson Township, N.J., after 34 years.
He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving during the Korean War.
He was a graduate of Fordham University in 1957 and Mount Claire State College in 1961 with a master’s degree.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Margaret Morris, of Vero Beach; and brother, Patrick Joseph Morris, of Fort Lauderdale.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 30 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Burial will be at a later date.
