Joan H. “Mema” Erne, 76, died Oct. 29, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Sebastian.
She was born in White Plains, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 1992, coming from Yorktown Heights, N.Y.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathryn Curran, of Lyme, Conn., and Pamela A. Erne-McGeady, of Sebastian; son, Mark C. Erne, of Yoe, Pa.; sister, Barbara Higgins, of Newnan, Ga.; brother, Reginald Morgan, of Mundelein, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter C. Erne; sister, Kathryn Morgan.

A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 2 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian.
