Arthur B. Firman Jr. died Oct. 24, 2012, in Melbourne.
He lived in Sebastian, coming from East Northport, N.Y.
He retired from Long Island Lighting Co. after 43 years.
He was a member of the East Northport Fire Department and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10210 in Sebastian, where he served as chaplain, and First Presbyterian Church in Sebastian.
He earned the Man of the Year award in 2010.
Survivors include his wife, Faith Firman; sons, Walter Firman, Michael Hawryluk and Timothy Hawryluk; daughters, Sandra Lemay, Debra Ospitale and Laura Clark; and nine grandchildren:
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 1 at First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian with military honors conducted by the Sebastian Area Veterans’ Honor Guard.
