David Maddock Grimstad, 44, died Nov. 7, 2012, at Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa.
He was born in Landstuhl, Germany, and lived in Vero Beach.
He served four years in the Navy.
He was active in his church.
Survivors include his mother, Janet; and sister, Tamara, of Wilmington, Del.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Grimstad.
A service will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Church of Latter Day Saints.
Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
