VERO BEACH — The Guardians For New Futures volunteer program enlists child advocate volunteers who are appointed by a judge to children who are victims of abuse, abandonment, and neglect.
On Saturday, Nov. 24, Vero Beach residents can come and talk with a GFNF associate about volunteer opportunities. GAL volunteers will be available at Starbucks from 10-11 a.m. at 1235 US 1 in Vero Beach.
Without a GAL volunteer, the children would have no voice in the courts.
Professional training is held on a monthly basis and is free.
For more details on how to become involved in the Guardian ad Litem program, please contact Dplym@GFNF4Kids.org or visit with a GAL/GFNF volunteer at Starbucks.
