Vero Beach Power Squadron is holding our next boating safety course on Dec. 1. Learn about aids to navigation, navigation rules, boat handling, trailering, knots, and life saving equipment.
Class runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Power Squadron Building, 301 Acacia Rd., at the northeast end of the Merrill Barber Bridge.
Get your “Florida Safe Boating” ID card.
If you were born after Jan. 1, 1988, get your operator’s license.
Many insurance companies offer discounts if you have completed a boating course.
Cost of the course is $35.
