William Lee Hatcher, 76, died Nov. 19, 2012, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Xenia, Ill., and moved to Vero Beach 15 months ago from Buena Vista, Colo.
Before retirement, he was a self-employed auto mechanic.
He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of a local bowling league and the Lion’s Club in Buena Vista.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kae K. Hatcher, of Vero Beach; son, Robert S. Hatcher, of Buena Vista; daughters, Patricia Little, of Vero Beach, Debra L. Uptergrove, of Wellington, Nancy A. Deardueff, of Vero Beach, Amy N. Zeiset, of Salida, Colo., and Cynthia A. Markowski, of Beaver Crossing, Neb.; brothers, Jack Hatcher, of Omaha, Neb., and Jimmy Hatcher, of Lincoln, Neb.; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Hatcher.
