Susan Elaine Bass Taylor, 42, died Nov. 17, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Vero Beach and was a lifetime resident.
She was a graduate of Vero Beach High School, Class of 1988.
She attended Indian River State College, where she earned her certified nursing assistant certificate.
She worked as a counselor for Faith Farms in Boynton Beach for eight years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son Christian Taylor, of Vero Beach; parents, Marion E. “Chubby” Bass and Jean E. Bass, of Vero Beach; sister, Dr. Rebecca Bass, of Macon, Ga.; brother, David Bass, of Vero Beach; and companion, Greg Horn, of Vero Beach.
Memorial contributions may be made to Food Pantry of Indian River County, 2206 16th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Nov. 23 at First Baptist Church, Vero Beach, with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. at the church, with Rev. Michael Carter officiating.
