Joseph Herman Park, Sr., 82, died Nov. 15, 2012, at his home in Vero Beach.
He was born in Cleveland, Tenn., and lived in Vero Beach for 18 years, coming from his birthplace.
He served in the Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He retired after 26 years as a lieutenant colonel.
He owned and operated Park Electric in Cleveland from 1966 until his retirement in 1998.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Mary Jo Park, of Vero Beach; sons, David Park, of Bradenton and Joe Park, of Cleveland, Tenn.; daughters, Debbie Payne, of Toccoa, Ga., and Jane Abbott, of Ringgold, Ga.; stepdaughter, Larita Wright, of Green Cove Springs; sister, Ellen Davis, of Cleveland, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, George Park and Gene Park.

A memorial service will be at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, at a later date.
