Otis Earl Napier, 63, died Nov. 11, 2012, at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
He was born in War, W.Va., and was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.
He worked at Vista Royale as the landscaping supervisor before his retirement.
He attended Vero Beach High School and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Army.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Deborah Napier, of Vero Beach; daughter, Mary Ellen Shinn, of Vero Beach; brothers, Robert L. Napier, of Sebastian and William Matthew Napier, of Vero Beach; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Ernestine Napier.
Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Council of Indian River County Transportation Fund, 2525 St. Lucie Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A celebration of life service will be at a later date.
