Dinner Theatre opens with “Holiday Harmonies”

VERO BEACH — It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas all around town, as well as being a title to just one of the nearly two dozen melodies that will be featured at Theatre-Go-Round Dinner Theatre’s upcoming production of “Holiday Harmonies,” opening Sunday, Nov. 18, at the 14th Avenue Steak House in historic downtown Vero Beach.

Additional performances will be given on Dec. 2 and 16.

The afternoon begins at 12:30 p.m. when a four course prime rib dinner is served featuring soup du jour, fresh home baked rye bread, gorgonzola salad served family style, baked potato, vegetable medley, and dessert.

Pangasius, a mild freshwater white fish, is available if requested at the time of making reservations. A la carte, full bar, and beverage service is available throughout the afternoon.

The matinee performance, featuring the musical hits and highlights of the season with a professional cast, begins at 2 p.m.

Theatre-Go-Round favorites Eleanor Dixon, Shamara Turner, and Caitlin and Gregory Harris are joined by newcomers Patty Carreau, Clay Jackson, and Jethro Hengst in such favorites as Sleigh Ride, Let it Snow, Winter Wonderland, Silent Night, The Little Drummer Boy, Rocking around the Christmas Tree, What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?, and White Christmas, to name just a few.

The $45 per person dinner theatre package includes the 4 course dinner, show, tax, and gratuity.

With only three performances and limited seating at the steak house, early reservations are suggested with Visa, MasterCard, or Discover by phoning the Theatre-Go-Round box office at (772) 252-9341.

Upcoming productions this season include “New York, New York” playing every other Sunday, Jan. 13 through March 10, and “Those Fabulous 50s” will open on March 24 and run every other Sunday through May 19, 2013.
