Barbara A. Kmak, 80, died Nov. 9, 2012, at her home in Sebastian.
She was born in Chicago and moved to Sebastian in 1992 from Stickney, Ill.
She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian and served as a volunteer at the McLarty Treasure Museum, Sebastian Inlet State Park, Roseland United Methodist Church Thrift Shop and the Fellsmere Soup Kitchen.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, August J. Kmak, of Sebastian; daughter, Nancy Berard, of Villa Park, Ill.; and sister, Doris Helebrandt, of Stickney.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Sebastian Inlet State Park Inc., c/o McLarty Treasure Museum, 13180 N. State Road A1A, Vero Beach, FL 32963.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian.
Kuratko Funeral Home in North Riverside will handle interment, which will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice, Ill.
