VERO BEACH — The local live musical duo Just Me 2 will be donating a two hour performance at the Victory Center on Monday, Nov. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Victory Center is the first of its kind in malls and is staffed entirely by volunteers. The center has veteran support information, military supplies, apparel, and much more.
Visitors can check out the Wall of Honor and the R & R Bunker.
Tom and Cheryl O’Neill formed the musical duo “Just Me 2.” Tom sings the standards and plays sax, clarinet, and keyboard along with big swing band and small jazz combo arrangements.
Cheryl sings well-known tunes, ranging from the Great American Songbook up to The Carpenters, Barbra, and Celine.
Included in the scheduled presentation will be several numbers popular during WWII, such as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Glenn Miller’s American Patrol.
It has been Just Me 2’s long-standing practice to donate its time to help local non-profit organizations make their fundraisers and benefits a musical success.
