Big Brothers Big Sisters receives Dyer Difference Award

VERO BEACH — Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru are pleased to announce the 52nd recipient of the Dyer Difference Award: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Indian River County.

The Dyer Difference award salutes a 501(C)3 non-profit organization serving Indian River County that is truly making a difference in our community.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) mission is to foster positive, professionally supported, one- to-one mentoring relationships with measurable impact so that the children of IRC can grow to be capable, confident, responsible men and women.

Tatiana, Will, and John Dyer, on behalf of Dyer Chevrolet, Mazda, and Subaru, presented the Dyer Difference Award along with a $3,000 check to BBBS to help sponsor their 4th annual Chocolate, Champagne, and Chefs event October 29 at Quail Valley River Club.

This BBBS fundraiser will go to support their mentor program as well as the Children of Promise program which matches responsible mentors with children of incarcerated parents.

“We believe in the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters and think they do a great job for the children in our community,” said Tatiana Dyer.
