First annual Treasure Coast Birding Festival Oct. 27-28

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The First Annual Treasure Coast Birding Festival has just added two new items to the festival event schedule.

On Saturday, October 27, Capt. Chop of Indian River Lagoon will lead a pontoon tour of the Indian River from the city dock in Ft. Pierce.

He is an avid birder and will add to the already great festival schedule.

On Sunday, October 28, Sharon Lovejoy will do a book signing immediately after the Kids’ Birding tour at 10 a.m. She has written “My First Bird Book & Feeder.”

Make sure to get the kids signed up for the tour, and remember, kids bird free.

All events will be centered from the Bethel Creek House located in Vero Beach on Hwy. A1A, including the juried Bird Art Show.

The keynote dinner will be at the Vero Beach Elks Lodge.
