Lea Barbara Bahr, 81, Vero Beach

Lea Barbara Bahr, 81, died Oct. 21, 2012.

She was born in Bronx, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 2002, coming from Marietta, Ga.

Before retirement, she worked at Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, for 10 years.

She was a graduate of Kennesaw State College, earning her registered nursing degree.

She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Vero Beach.

She was a volunteer at the Environmental Learning Center, Wabasso.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Ralph Bahr Sr.; sons, Ralph Bahr Jr., of Dunedin, Mark Bahr, of Alexandria, Va., and Brooks Bahr, of Marietta; daughters, Carol Anthony, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Leslie Bahr, of Tampa; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Oct. 25, at the Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with the Rev. A.C. “Jack” Diehl III, officiating.
