VERO BEACH — The first annual TC Birding Festival is also a bird lovers’ juried art show.
You will find pottery, photography, metal sculpture, wood carvings, plein air, watercolors, oils, graphites, and more.
Judging will be by artists Judy Burgarella and Judith Ragusa; Chris Pierce will hang and place the work.
The show opens to the public on Friday, Oct. 26, at 4 p.m.
There is an artists’ reception from 5-7 p.m. followed by a lecture on the Cockaded Woodpecker by Sammy McGee, all at the Bethel Creek House, which is located at 4405 N. A1A in Vero Beach.
On Saturday the 27th, the show will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Sunday, the show’s hours will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Birding festival is a collaboration between the Cultural Council of Indian River County and the Pelican Island Preservation Society.
