Lennie Carder, 97, died Oct. 21, 2012, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, Tenn.
She was born in Campton, Ky.
She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1977, coming from Middleton, Ohio.
She was a member of the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, George Carder, of Palm City, and Hershel Carder, of Kingston, Tenn.; daughters, Patricia Johns, of Kingston, Stella Burns, of Gratis, Ohio, Linda Gross, of Sebastian, and Phyllis Frazier, of Tampa; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn C. Carder.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 25 at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Garden in Fort Pierce.
