VERO BEACH — Please mark your calendars for an enjoyable evening on Oct. 23 at Blue Star Wine Bar.
The fun starts at 5:30 p.m. with wine and hors d’oeuvres as well as great music by VooDoo. The purpose of this fundraiser/friendraiser is for the Women’s Healthcare Safety Net Fund.
Treasure Coast Community Health provides healthcare for all. However, we cannot provide everything at our facilities. One of the things we cannot do is baseline mammograms.
We can write an order for a mammogram, find a facility willing to administer it at a discounted rate, but if someone does not have $99 to pay, they will defer having this important imaging test done.
That is the purpose of the Women’s Healthcare Safety Net Fund: to enable women to be able to get routine tests such as pap smears, baseline mammograms, etc. done to prevent huge health issues later.
All of the monies raised from this event will go directly to the Women’s Healthcare Safety Net Fund, not for overhead, administration, etc.; just to enable us to provide further healthcare to those who need it.
Dr. Marian Sampson, one of our medical team, and the only female Board Certified OB/Gyn in Indian River County, will briefly speak about the contemporary female health issues and then mingle for the evening.
The cost is a $35 donation per person for the evening; food, wine, and entertainment for a great cause.
Please contact Steve Dorrance at (772) 571-1982 to RSVP.
If you cannot attend, but would like to make a donation, please contact Steve as well.
The event has been graciously co-sponsored by Donadio & Associates, Architects P.A., and Daley Real Estate.
