Elizabeth Crane, 97, died Oct. 20, 2012, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born in Chicago, and lived in Vero Beach for seven years, coming from Ocala.
Before retirement, she was the owner and operator of the Nutmeg Motel in Hollywood, Fla.
She attended St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
She was a member of several deaf clubs in Florida and other states.
Surviving are a daughter, Joyce E. Maio, of Vero Beach; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John E. Biederman, Charles Van Epps, and Michael J. Crane; and her son, Barry Van Epps.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Oct. 27 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
