Robert J. Troy, 82, died Oct. 11, 2012, at Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for nine years, coming from Helmetta, N.J.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Prior to retirement, he had been a supervisor in various manufacturing companies.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Troy; sister, Irene Riccardi, of Vero Beach; brothers, Richard Troy, of Vero Beach and Daniel Troy, of Bothell, Wash.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 19 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
