Keith E. Gergely, 57, died Oct. 11, 2012, at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in Vero Beach and was a lifetime resident.
He worked as a mechanic technician at Jordan Mower for 30 years.
He was a member of the Vero Beach Bike Club and volunteered at McKee Botanical Gardens.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years Nannette Gergely; sons Vaughan Bassegio, of Lemoore, Calif., Patrick Prescott, of Sebastian, Trevor Prescott, of Vero Beach; daughter Melisa Raborn, of Vero Beach; sisters Donna Arnold, of Melbourne, Darlene Irvine, of Orange, Va., Janet Stalvey, of Elkhart, Ind.; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Milburn and Sara Gergely; and his brother Ed Gergely.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.
Arrangements are by Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
