Lloyd E. Schumann, 85, died Oct. 1, 2012, at Grace Rehabilitation in Vero Beach.
He was born in Pittsburgh and previously lived in Stuart for 20 years, before relocating to the Vero Beach-area seven years ago.
He was a traffic manager and worked for Navios in the Bahamas for 17 years.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
He was of Protestant faith.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Carol, of Vero Beach; daughters, Deborah Meeldner, of Pittsburgh and Rebecca Refice, of Greenwood, Ind.; stepsons, Geoffrey Boardman, of Sebastian and David Boardman, of Costa Rica; stepdaughters, Linda Boardman, of Denver and Christine Kebbel, of Sebastian; nine grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lee Rogers.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Oct. 6 at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart.
